The Psychological and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Al-Qadisiyah University held a guidance symposium on (the importance of women’s education and their role in society), in which the teacher, Dr. Duha Shaker Muhammad Al-Yasiri, lectured.
The symposium aims:
Clarifying the role of educated women in society and the most important aspects of their surroundings and the possibility of forming their complementary role in strengthening society as an effective and important element.

The symposium showed:
The importance of educating women about their role in society is one of the complementary matters that complement each other. Educating women is considered a priority that no one should ignore. The most important points that demonstrate this importance are the following:

Elevating women’s minds, increasing their awareness, and brightening their perceptions.

Changing women’s way of thinking for the better.

Introducing women to the different things going on around them.

It helps her know the universe and understand its variables and laws.

It enlightens her mind, supports her thinking, and stimulates her ideas to emerge and take off.

It helps her to analyze and create, and this greatly emphasizes the importance of women’s education and their role in society as an active and creative element.

Increases women’s knowledge and intellectual stock.

Diversifies her thinking styles.

It helps women advance society, to be a support and aid to men.

It helps women to have an integral role in their society and alongside men, so that they can perform tasks that are compatible with their physical capabilities, and education helps them to perform these tasks to the fullest extent.

It helps women raise a strong generation, capable of carrying out an important mission in their lives.

It helps women find a suitable job that provides them with financial income that helps them spend in order to be of help to men.

It makes women feel valued, increases their self-confidence, increases their psychological and emotional stability, and helps them solve problems.

The importance of women’s education is not limited to its personal importance to them, but rather it gives them an active role in their society. The role of women in society cannot be limited to a few points, but it can be summarized by several points, including:

Women contribute to raising all members of society. In fact, they are the most important element in education because they are the mother who bears, gives birth, and raises them. She acts with her children with the maternal instinct that teaches them everything.

She participates in carrying the message of life with her husband and children, and is considered a source of passion, tenderness, and great love, which relieves others of adversity and adversity.

It contributes to the advancement and development of society and the morals of its children.

It plays an important and effective role in building and developing society in terms of science, culture, health, industry, and in all different fields.
